Taylor Swift to Play in Fort Worth

Even if you don’t generally like country music, it’s a little hard to not like Taylor Swift. After her cute performance in Valentine’s Day (in an otherwise largely lackluster plot), graceful handling of Kanye West’s jerk-ification, and overall sweet girl image, even her music doesn’t move you, her adorableness probably does.

That said, Swift has a very clear, pretty voice, and it’s enjoyable to hear. When people hear that song about the cheerleader versus the girl in the bleachers, or the one about the boy asking a girl’s father for permission to marry her, they might feel a bit miffed about the whole 1950s mentality of it all, but they also tend to tap their toes. As long as her music doesn’t start to venture into the wholly dangerous territory that many other country singers’ music does, she’ll probably continue to have a wide fan base.

Who are we kidding? Even if she does, she’ll still have a lot of fans—just not as many from the non-bigotry crowd.

If you like Taylor, you might want to check out her concert at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium on October 8. You should still have plenty of time to buy tickets, so click here to find out more information.
